Weekly Wrap Up, What Came in the Mail, What I'm Reading & more.

I was planning on doing weekly recaps at least every couple weeks or so, but getting a post prepped for the weekend is a challenge!  So I usually just use a review (I normally have some back ups ready, but I do my middle grade and children's reviews on Sunday's usually).  This time I reviewed my middle grade book yesterday so I freed up today.

I have some news, I reached over 2,000 likes on facebook!  I've had the page less than a year (yeah, it took me awhile to put one up) so it's not too bad.  But if you aren't 'liking' me there yet, I hope you do so soon!

Also, I've decided (I'm pretty sure) that I'll move to wordpress.  I don't think it's going to happen immediately but we're starting to plan the designs and stuff.  I'll be having my business and my blog on separate sites (blogs) so it'll be easier to navigate. It'll be October at the earliest before I move (I think).

 

First up for news stuff, I have a new tour sign-up posted.  It's for a YA fantasy called Rook.  I only read a sample (though a pretty large sample) and I really liked it, so I hope you sign up and give it a shot!  You can find the sign ups HERE.

I read The Warrior & the Flower by Camille Picott and WOW, it was AMAZING!  Review will go up this week.  :)

I also read My Life Next Door, and it was amazing TOO!  Two amazing books in one week.  WIN!  

Note: I read two others too, but they were not as amazing.

However... the end of last week (a week ago almost exactly) I read this book and it was also AMAZING.  So yeah, I guess I've had some winners lately.  YAY!

 

I did a gift exchange on facebook and my person sent me these goodies all the way from Germany!  Of course my kids claimed most of it... but the book sounds great!  Have you read it?  It has a male POV, I love male POV...

So I'm hosting the tour for Dreamscape (starts August 12th actually) and Christie sent me a gorgeous paperback copy!  It's signed with a very sweet message as well.  I love it!  Thank you Christie!

I won Tidal at Always YA at Heart and it was provided by the publisher.  Thank you Ellen and the publisher, I've heard it's great!  And I got The Deepest Night for review.  I'm SO excited to read this (I'm actually reading it now, though I may be finished by the time this post goes up).  It's the second book in The Sweetest Dark series.

It was my lucky week cause I also won Starglass by Phoebe North.  I won a giveaway from her tour and she sent me a signed finished copy.  I was really excited because this book sounds amazing!  I think I'll actually read it really soon.

It may seem like I win a lot, but actually this is the first week in awhile that I've won anything, so it's extra special!
