In My Mailbox (12) and I got a Kobo!

Happy Sunday everyone!  Once again it's Sunday and time for IMM!  First of all In My Mailbox is a weekly event highlighting all the books you've received through the week (no matter the source).  It is hosted by the lovely Kristi at The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.  
Now remember last week where I technically got no books at all (though I showed ones I received from my mom that used to be mine as a kid)?  Well this week WAY more then made up for it!  I think it was the best week ever for books!  Before I get to the biggest and most exciting I'm going to tell you about the books I got at the book signing Friday.  I already had most of her books, but these ones I didn't.  The Naamah's Kiss is going to my BFF in SC though.

Then I purchased a few books on amazon.  I won a $10 GC but then I went a bit overboard.  Hey, it's my birthday!  (I've been saying that all month and it's just become an excuse for buying books.)

I ordered Perchance to Dream: Theatre Illuminata #2 by Lisa Mantchev

and I got a GC to Borders from Violet from The Eager Readers (thank you Violet!) for my birthday.

So I went and got Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce, and The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker by Leanna Renee Heiber

Then I won Witchling (Sisters of the Moon, Book 1) by Yasmine Galenorn from The Gutter Girls Blog.  They shipped it all the way from the UK!  Thanks Minx!

For review I got an ARC of Minder (Ganzfield), and ARC of Incarceron (Incarceron, Book 1) by Catherine Fisher and an ARC of Illyria by Elizabeth Hand.

And last, but certainly not least!  I got a Kobo eReader!  

Woo hoo!  It's for review books mainly as I can't even imagine spending money on a book that I can't even display on my shelves.  But I get so many review eARC's that this will be great!  I'm reading my first book on it right now.  It takes a little adjusting.  I'm not sure yet how I feel about it, but I really love how small and light it is.  SO easy to carry around with me.  I plan to do a review of the Kobo itself after I've read on it a bit.  

Oh, and I can't forget to mention the 100 books already loaded on it!  Lots of classics I've been wanting to read!  So really, that's like another 100 books in my IMM this week!  Seriously.  Best. Book. Week. Ever. EVER!
