Ides of March Read-a-Thon Starting Line & Finish Line!

I'm participating in the Ides of March read-thon hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. The event kicks off today, March 13th at 12 am and ends March 17th at 11:59 pm.

Challenges begin at 8 am (EST) on March 13th and be open until Monday March 17th at 11:59 pm (EST)

There's a Twitter party on Sunday March 16th at 4pm (EST). There will be bookish chat, humor and prizes. hashtag #TBRreadathon. Use TweetChat to follow easier.

Get those TBR books ready! At least one book must have been published before March 1, 2014 to enter participant raffle.

I did a video! It's been like two years since I did one but I got a new laptop and it has a webcam and it was SO easy to make a video! One thing I didn't mention in the video is the one book that was published before March 1st. So here's a list in case you can't watch the video, and so I can update as I go.

The Read-a-Thon is now over!  I really didn't read much at all Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  I was so SO busy.  But fortunately I got some reading done before the weekend. So here's what I accomplished.  Also, I did read almost an entire middle grade book to my daughter, but I didn't really keep track of that.  And I also suddenly got an obsession with etsy and wasted too much time staring at the site.  So really, I could have done so much better.  But oh well, it is what it is.

I had missed where we needed at least one holiday or winter themed book but I happen to have this one from last year so it's the perfect chance to fit it in!

And at the rate I've been reading lately, that will likely keep me busy.  I'm also known for totally not sticking to the plan and reading totally different books, so this could change still.  I'm a mood reader. :)

Wrapping Up 2011 Readathon Final Update

Okay, so the readathon is over!  I'm pretty happy with what I got read! I could have read much more if it hadn't been the holidays, but considering it was busy many of those days (and my daughter was home from school for all of them) I did pretty good!

Started Seduced By Moonlight by Laurell K. Hamilton= 115 pgs.
Total: 2,485
That's a total of about 250 pages a day.  Which is what I average anyway.  But considering everything going on I did pretty good!  Plus, many of those are adult books which take me a lot longer to read, so really- it's not so bad!

The Readathon lasted from December 22nd through January 1st.

Okay so it's been such a busy time I totally forgot about this Readathon!  Well, I didn't totally forget, I was just thinking it was next week... But apparently it starts today (the 22nd).

I REALLY want to get some series books read and my adult series books are out of control!  I SO need to try to get some read.  I'm behind on my YA ones as well but it's hard to know which ones I may pick up.  I'm a mood reader so it's hard to say what might strike my fancy.
