Dark Days Author Signing and author video interview

Yesterday was an amazing day!  I drove up to Seattle (I live in the Portland area) to see Kimberly Derting, Cynthia Hand and Ellen Schreiber.  Harper had asked me to be the live blogger and to tweet and video tape the event.  I also got to interview the authors before hand!  

My sister in law went with me, thank goodness!  It's about a 3 hour drive and having someone with makes it go so much faster.

We got there early so I saw when Ellen and Cynthia arrived and I went over and told them I was Candace and that I was there to interview them.  The Borders people led us to a back room where I went ahead and set everything up while we waited for Kimberly to arrive.  When she got there we all greeted each other and sat for a minute talking before jumping into the interview.  I then did the interview with the questions you guys asked on here and I think they were pretty good!

Once I finished I said I'd see them out there and went out to the signing area which was now packed.  Borders had a reserved seat for me and had failed to tell me but luckily I had a seat in the front already filled with my stuff and it was perfect.  I sat up my video camera and commenced to record the event once they came out.  Unfortunately it's going to take some work to get that video up but I'll let you guys know once I do! In the meantime here's more photo's.

Dark Days of Supernatural LIVE on twitter Now!

I just wanted to remind you all I'm live on twitter right now (or very soon!) from the Dark Days of Supernatural tour stop in Redmond, Washington with Kimberly Derting, Cynthia Hand and Ellen Schreiber!  I'm tweeting about the event with pictures and giveaways!  I have posters to give away as well as other swag so be sure to head over!  

I'm interviewing the authors at 1:30 but will start tweeting the second I finish.  I'm going to be multi tasking big time because I'm also video taping the event so bear with me if I have misspellings or miss questions, etc.  I'm planning to have some helpers to help with picking out the winners of the prizes.

The Dark Days of Supernatural Author Questions and Swag Giveaway!

As  many of you know, I will be attending The Dark Days Tour stop in Redmond Washington on January 15th. where I will see Kimberly Derting, Cynthia Hand and Ellen Schreiber.
There will be a Q&A and I will also be getting the opportunity to ask a few questions of the authors before or after the signing (if all goes well).
I thought it would be great to get your input on some questions to ask.
I plan to video tape the Q&A as well as my personal interview with the authors.  It's hard to know how the signing will go, but that is the plan.

So do you have some questions you would love to have answered by Kimberly, Cynthia and Ellen?
General questions they can all answer would be great, but if you have more personal, individual questions then I would be happy to ask one or two of them.


I will pick a few of the questions you post in the comments.  When I ask them the questions I will say your name so please let me know what name you would like used.  If I pick your questions to ask I will also send you swag.  I have no idea what they will be handing out at the signing but I've been told there will be some.  So please leave an email address for contacting you.


This is open Internationally and ends January 14th, the day before the signing.

I have some fantastic news that a few of you already know about because of me tweeting about about it, but January 15th I'm going to the Dark Days Tour stop in Redmond Washington where I'll get to meet Cynthia Hand, Ellen Schreiber and will get to see Kimberly Derting again (I've met her before).  I'm very excited that HarperCollins asked me to be the live blogger!
The Dark Days Tour will be traveling all over the country, though  has different authors on some of the stops.
