I'm excited to be part of the Confessions and Clues Week for Confessions: The Private School Murders by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

Set-up:

There have been a string of murders on the Upper West Side in NYC.  A killer is on the loose targeting private school girls, and while the police look for all the right answers in all the wrong places, Tandy Angel is determined to uncover who is really responsible.  Tandy has shared these five clues that hint at who the killer may be.

But what is going on in Tandy’s mind as she tracks the footsteps of a killer?  Here is one of Tandy’s true CONFESSIONS, an inside look at her thoughts and feelings.

To piece together the full story and get an inside look at this thrilling story, you’ll have to pick up a copy of Confessions: The Private School Murders, on-sale October 7th however books are sold.

Tandy Angel, mastermind determined to track down a serial killer targeting private school girls on the Upper West Side, has been trained her whole life to downplay her emotions and not to feel.  Great skills in a detective, but in Confessions: The Private School Murders, Tandy’s emotions are starting to come through.

“Maybe I wasn’t a good detective.  Not anymore.  Now that I was off the drugs, I was feeling everything, but did I still have the sharp and rational mind of an ace detective?”

Alexa Martin (Girl Wonder) signing recap

Last week I went to Alexa Martins signing on the release day of Girl Wonder.  It was a blast and besides getting my own copy signed, and getting to meet Alexa, I got to see a bunch of other authors as well!

Lisa Schroeder, Suzanne Young, Inara Scott, Laini Taylor and April Henry were all there.  It was great to see them again!

Girl WonderThis was the first time Alexa had seen Girl Wonder on the shelves and her first signing EVER!  So when she's super famous I can say I was there for her very first signing ;)
I had to bring my kids along but luckily they know Lisa Schroeder a bit and she kept my daughter entertained by drawing with her.  I seriously was so grateful!  My baby was a bit crabby, but he really didn't do so bad.  Plus Laini Taylor sat by us and her daughter kept him entertained at least a little bit of the time (she's so cute!).  Here's a picture of Suzanne Young and Laini Taylor with her daughter.  Isn't it a great picture?

Wake Unto Me

In the beginning Alexa read from the prologue of Girl Wonder and then she answered some questions.  I don't really remember what they were because I was occupied with my kids around that time.  But I do remember they were good and Alexa did a great job answering them all.

Overall it was a fantastic time and I got some fabulous books.  I got Girl Wonder, of course, and then Wake Unto Me by Lisa Cach because she'd been there recently and there were signed copies.   I also got A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly cause there was an inexpensive used copy and it was on my wishlist.  Now I can't say go buy Girl Wonder cause it's amazing, cause I haven't read it yet, but I can say that Alexa was pretty awesome, so buy it for that reason!
