My Week in Instagram: New Books, New Gifts and New Tours!

Happy Sunday everyone!
This post is in my week according to instagram. It's mostly the books I got but I take random pictures sometimes too.  Also, make sure you follow me on instagram, I follow back!

Christmas is over and the New Year is upon us!  It's hard to believe it's nearly 2014.

This week was slow for books.  But I've been having trouble getting much reading done anyway, so that's probably good.

I got an ARC of Night Owls by Lauren M. Roy but since it's just a solid green cover I just snapped an image off of goodreads.  This one releases in March (or very late February).  It sounds great!  Thank you Penguin!

I got Flora & Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo for my daughter for Christmas.  She's been wanting this book for ages!  I read the first chapter and it seems like it's going to be great! (Kate is always great, I love her writing!)

My kids got me the adorable owl mug and the monogrammed coasters for Christmas.  I LOVE them!

For those who don't know me, I'm all about healthy living. I prefer to avoid chemicals and keep things all natural.  My SIL started selling Arbonne which is all natural, vegan and chemical free.  So I had a party and got some stuff for free and got some other stuff too.  I'm kind of in love so far, I plan to do a post in the future about it all.

I made my goal of 200 books!

I have two new tour sign ups posted.

Must Love Otters actually  made it on my favorites list for this year so I'm really excited to be putting together a tour for it. It's adult romantic comedy.  If interested in participating, check out the tour page.

The Wolf's Cry was another fantastic read that I'm excited to be doing the tour for. This is YA fantasy, be sure to check out the tour page for info!

That's it for me! I hope you all have a wonderful (and safe) New Year's!

My Week In Instagram- Photo Recap

Happy Sunday everyone!
This post is in my week according to instagram. It's mostly the books I got but I take random pictures sometimes too.  Also, make sure you follow me on instagram, I follow back!

It's been awhile since I did an instagram post, so I have quite a few to share with you this week!

If you missed my Wordstock recap, you should check that out.  I'll skip sharing those pictures again.

However, I haven't shared a picture with the new books I got from Wordstock, so here are the ones I picked up there. As well as Falling Kingdoms which came in the mail that week and Endless Knight, which my friend Sara gave to me at Wordstock (she had an extra copy). Thanks Sara (Novel Novice)!

I won a $50 Amazon Gift Card and I got to order some books!  These are a few that I ordered. I'm SO excited, I wish I could read them NOW!

I got a new mouse. Isn't she beautiful?!

I got Masks for review.  This is a fantasy and I'm really excited to read it!

I'm hosting The Book Thief book club and the pretty books came! You'll see more on this as I'll be doing a post about the book club meeting about the book and then the book club meeting about the movie.

My gorgeous paperback of Shadows of Asphodel came.  I read this already on my kindle and it's SO good!  It was so good I offered to do a tour and we are!  I still have sign ups open (at least as I type this up, cause they might close soon!) so if this interests you you can find that info HERE.

She was awesome and she sent me bookmarks too!  The original cover is the one on the far right.  It's available as well (or should be soon if it isn't yet).

I went and got some storage solutions. This is one of those fake books. I'm going to store swag inside.

I also got a new prize box so I have a place to put my giveaway items.  Apparently I have Paris on the mind... ;)

I read her new book recently and loved it so I had to get this one!

I didn't request this one for ages due to my TBR, but I'm really dying to read it, so I finally grabbed it off of Amazon Vine for review.  I loved the first book!

It's fall here, and everything is about Halloween.  We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend and then this week I took a few fall pictures.  I'm not sharing them all, but here are a few!

My Week in Instagram- Weekly Recap via Pictures!

Happy Sunday everyone! I can't believe another week has gone by.  It seriously FLEW by!  I blinked- and it was gone!

This post is in my week according to instagram. It's mostly the books I got but I take random pictures sometimes too.  Also, make sure you follow me on instagram, I follow back!

Okay, so before I get to the good stuff, for those who haven't seen it yet, my business is celebrating being open for one year by giving away $50. I just need you to fill out a form to be a tour host or reviewer (there's lots of options) and you're entered!  If you already signed up (prior to this giveaway) to be a host, please fill out this new form, I'm breaking things down into lists and categories so I can contact people for the right reasons.  You don't have to have a blog to sign up. Check it out for all the details.

Okay, moving on to the fun stuff! I actually had a slow week (which is good!) and didn't get much.  I have a huge order coming though, so next week or the week after I'll have LOADS to show ya'll!

So I bought If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan. I read it already too.  It's really good. It's LGBT set in Iran.  My review goes up this week.

For review I got Cursed by S.J. Harper (reading it now), Celtic Moon by Jan DeLima and Stonecast by Anton Strout. Thanks goes to Penguin for these lovelies!

Totally non book related, but this tea is delicious! I've been drinking a pot of it everyday and now I can hardly stomach coffee in the morning. This is the tea they drink in Brazil. Well, that's what I've been told. ;)  It's got a flavor similar to green tea but it seems to settle in my stomach better.

I know that several of you have seen this many times, I apologize for that, but I'm still needing reviewers for the audiobook tour of Lethal Circuit by Lars Guignard. This is adult spy techno-thriller.  You can find the tour page HERE with all the details!

Have a great week everyone!

My Week in Instagram- A Weekly Recap

Last weekend I didn't do a weekly recap and that's because I went somewhere that was super amazing.  I spent the 4 day weekend in the Seattle area, visiting University Book Store and Diablo Lake.  I don't have pictures of the book store, but here's a picture of the lake I visited.
The water from the lake is fed from Glaciers, so it's this aquamarine color.  It was hard to capture the color in a photo because of the lighting, but here's one that shows you more.
It wasn't quite this light colored, but between the two pictures you get the idea, it was GORGEOUS!  I seriously felt like I was in dream or something.  Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and this beautiful water, it was just stunning.  We went on a boat and it was SO nice!

So here's my past two weeks, according to my instagram steam.

I picked this up at the Indie bookstore.  I've been wanting to read it!
I got these in the mail because I went up to the YA Book Club and got to chat with Sean Beaudoin.  They're all signed now too, but I forgot to take a photo of that.
Got this in the mail for review. SQUEE!  I LOVE this series!
I got these for review, even more squeeing!  (Fangirl was unbelievably good!  I'm just starting The Burning Sky, tonight hopefully.)
I got these for review.  I've never read a James Patterson book, can you believe it?  I'm allover the mysteries lately so hopefully I like them!

Not book related, but when we went to Diablo Lake we stopped by Cascadian Farm.  I eat their cereal and granola bars, ALL the time.  We got ice cream while there.

I did a gift exchange that was for beauty products.  My person (who happens to be a friend, coincidentally) sent me some AMAZING items!  Hands so soft is in the Mary Kay bag, there's some oil for hair that's some rare oils and I'm SO pumped to use and well, everything is just exciting!  I love gift exchanges, it's so fun!

I think that's about it!  I do have a ton of tour sign-ups posted and have like 4 others that will go up soon. For now check out the page that has those that are up listed.

Hope you're all having a great weekend!
